The company has established a presence in the United Arab Emirates for over 35 years, and today employs over 300 individuals in the region. Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Fullstack Developer with a back-end focus, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure applications primarily on the back end using Java and Spring Boot, with contributions to front-end development as needed.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Developing and maintaining back-end services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Designing APIs and integrating with front-end components and external systems.
- Participating in Continuous Integration responsibilities (Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Git, Jira, Sonar).
- Taking ownership of your code, participating in deployments, and accompanying it to production (using Ansible, Bash, SSH, Linux, Docker).
- Preparing and delivering project deliverables, including Software Requirements Specifications, Design Documentation, Test Plans, Source Code Management, and Validation Reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in Java development, with strong expertise in Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Strong experience with database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL).
- Familiarity with tools related to Agile Software development (Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Artifactory).
- Experience with front-end technologies (Angular, React, or Vue.js) is advantageous.
- Technical writing experience in English and ability to produce high-quality documents.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; candidates also fluent in French and/or Arabic are preferred.
- Knowledge and experience of Linux systems is necessary.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Additional knowledge in Python, C, or C++ will be considered favorably.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with real-time software, radio protocols, and communications is beneficial.
- Knowledge of other programming languages, like C, C++, and Python.
