As a Senior Software Engineer, you will report to the onshore Engineering Manager and work closely with the agile team, transforming business needs into technical requirements. Responsibilities include the design and development of applications, collaborating with other engineers, and ensuring compliance with project schedules and technical expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work within a Scrum team and ensure that development stories meet the Definition of Done.
- Contribute to requirement definitions and software architecture.
- Develop and integrate software components into a fully functional system.
- Write well-designed, documented, and testable code following best practices.
- Participate actively in the software development life cycle and Agile practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in web interface development (JavaScript, HTML-5, CSS3, VueJS, Angular).
- Strong background in software component development (Java, Maven, Spring Boot, REST).
- Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Git).
- Knowledge of deployment practices (Docker, SSH, Linux).
- Understanding of Air Traffic Management systems is preferred.
Educational Requirements:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics, or related fields.
- High fluency in English (written and spoken); additional fluency in French or Arabic is preferred.
- Certifications in JAVA, Linux, DevOps toolset, and Agile methodologies are advantageous.
Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud-native architecture, DevOps practices, and software management.
- Experience in languages and frameworks including Python, C, C++ will be considered a plus.
