Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver annual business plan objectives within agreed deadlines and budget constraints.
- Lead and manage geotechnical design resources and oversee the delivery of geotechnical design services across multiple projects.
- Present management review data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to project and functional leadership teams.
- Support business development, work-winning initiatives, and the delivery of training and capability development programs.
- Ensure compliance with management systems, project governance, and defined roles and responsibilities.
- Act as the primary focal point for geotechnical design matters, driving continuous improvement in delivery plans, technical standards, tools, and processes.
- Influence procurement strategies, contractual and legal matters, and promote technical excellence through effective stakeholder collaboration.
- Support net zero carbon objectives by proactively identifying, managing, and reducing carbon emissions while leveraging organizational knowledge and best practices.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, or a related discipline (or equivalent).
- Significant experience leading geotechnical design teams and delivering major infrastructure or building projects.
