ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Senior Hardware Design Engineer for the company to lead the development of advanced high-speed digital hardware solutions for mission-critical defence systems. The role involves end-to-end hardware design, verification, qualification, technical leadership, design reviews, and mentoring engineering teams while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design, development, integration, and verification of high-speed digital hardware systems and subsystems.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on hardware architecture, signal integrity, PCB layout, qualification testing, and engineering best practices.
  • Plan and lead technical design reviews, ensuring compliance with development specifications, interface control documents, and customer requirements.
  • Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement of hardware development processes, standards, and engineering excellence.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in hardware and/or firmware engineering with a strong focus on digital hardware design.
  • Proven experience in high-speed digital hardware development, verification, qualification testing, and system integration.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering processes, industry standards, and hardware development lifecycles.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in high-speed PCB design, signal integrity analysis, and EMI/EMC compliance practices.
  • Experience in defence, aerospace, guided munitions, or other safety-critical engineering environments.
