Key Responsibilities
- Develop system-level embedded hardware and RF solutions.
- Define hardware architectures and detailed designs aligned with system and project requirements.
- Review schematics and PCB layouts and support component selection.
- Contribute throughout the product-development lifecycle, from initial design through manufacturing and production.
- Support prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of hardware issues.
- Ensure designs meet applicable quality, EMC, environmental, and certification requirements.
- Work closely with technical leads and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers, understand their requirements, and help develop appropriate solutions.
- Lead and coordinate hardware-development activities across functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of hardware engineering experience, particularly in system-level design.
- Strong hands-on experience in hardware design and development, including schematic design, PCB layout, prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of embedded-system architecture, microcontrollers, and DSP.
- Knowledge of RF circuit design, antenna design, and wireless communication protocols.
- Familiarity with mechanical considerations such as packaging and thermal management.
- Understanding of EMC, environmental testing, quality standards, and product certifications.
- Experience leading hardware-development projects and coordinating cross-functional activities.
