Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and highly capable Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in Red Hat Linux and HPE server technologies. The successful candidate will be fluent in Arabic and ideally have experience working within the banking or financial services sector. This role involves managing and optimising enterprise infrastructure systems to ensure performance, resilience, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions based on Red Hat Linux.
• Administer and maintain HPE ProLiant DL380 / DL360 servers and HPE Alletra MP / x10000 storage systems.
• Carry out system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
• Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues across hardware and operating system layers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deployments and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure adherence to security standards and best practices.
• Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members.
• Participate in an on-call rota and respond to critical incidents when required.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Red Hat Linux system administration.
• Hands-on experience with HPE DL380 / DL360 servers and HPE Alletra MP / x10000 storage platforms.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking, and virtualisation.
• Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written).
• Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
