Senior Inspector -Piping

About the Role
The position involves extensive oversight and technical expertise in managing major Oil and Gas projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with project specifications through diligent review and inspection of procurement documentation and vendor activities. This role also requires active participation in supporting site activities, addressing technical queries, and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Review EPC contractor procurement documentation for static equipment and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Monitor vendor manufacturing activities and participate in inspections as required.
• Support and follow up on site activities in line with approved Project specifications, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and quality standards.
• Coordinate the resolution of technical queries and review procurement deliverables.
• Validate corrective actions for non-conformities.
• Review and approve relevant quality documentation.

Position Requirements

• BSc. or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical discipline from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in major Oil and Gas projects.
• Professional certifications from internationally recognized bodies such as ASME, CSWIP, BGAS, NACE, ASNT Level II/III, API, etc.
