Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Deep experience in planning/scheduling utilizing scheduling software (P6 or MS Project)
- Extensive experience in design and construction project management
- Proven track record of delivering medium-to-large scale construction projects on time and to the satisfaction of clients
- Excellent understanding of Project Planning, Earned Value Management and Key Commodity Tracking
- Strong familiarity with CPM scheduling methodology
- Ability to analyze EPC plans/schedules and provide insights into trends, issues, and mitigations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to self-direct work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in managing teams and working collaboratively with cross-functional groups
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Datacenter design and construction
- Deep knowledge of Primavera P6 and other schedule health analysis tools
- Strong experience with Risk Schedule Analysis
- Ability to present data from a detailed to high-level depending on audience
Responsibilities:
As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, execution, and delivery of large-scale datacenter construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in datacenter design, procurement, and construction, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and to the satisfaction of clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and oversee continuous improvement of detailed project plans, including timelines and resource requirements for construction projects.
- Manage cross-functional teams inside and outside Microsoft to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time.
- Monitor project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
- Work with clients to understand their needs and ensure project outcomes meet their expectations.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proactively manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring objectives are met and timely delivery.
- Continuously improve project management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
