Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs that support business processes, system integrations, and AI-powered applications.
- Build and manage integrations between internal systems, external platforms, Salesforce, REST APIs, and third-party services.
- Design and implement AI agent integrations capable of interacting with APIs, databases, enterprise applications, and business workflows.
- Develop AI-powered workflows and automation using LLMs, AI agents, tool/function calling, and API-based integrations.
- Work directly with clients to gather requirements, understand business needs, and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and support integration solutions running in AWS environments.
- Optimize integrations for reliability, scalability, and performance while identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in API design, development, and integration, with proven experience connecting complex systems and services.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, RDS, SQS, or comparable cloud services.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience building production-quality applications and integrations.
- Experience with AI and LLM technologies, including AI agents and applications that can retrieve information, invoke APIs or tools, make decisions, and execute multi-step workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize distributed integrations.
- Excellent client-facing, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations is a plus.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and services such as SQS and SNS is a plus.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, is a plus.
