Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and define integration strategies.
- Design and architect integration solutions for communication and data exchange between heterogeneous systems.
- Document integration architecture principles, standards, and best practices.
- Evaluate and select integration technologies, platforms, and frameworks.
- Design and develop integration solutions using various technologies and protocols (messaging systems, API gateways, ETL tools, etc.).
- Implement data mapping, transformation, and routing rules for efficient data flow.
- Maintain integration interfaces, contracts, and protocols for interoperability.
- Conduct integration testing to validate the functionality and performance of solutions.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams for successful deployment.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to integration developers and engineers.
- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure compliance with integration standards.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in integration technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; an advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in integration architecture or related roles.
- Strong understanding of integration principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in a variety of integration technologies and protocols (JMS, RabbitMQ, Informatica, etc.).
- Experience with platforms like MuleSoft, TIBCO, or IBM Integration Bus.
- Knowledge of data interchange formats (XML, JSON, SOAP, REST).
- Familiarity with cloud integration patterns, iPaaS, and cloud-native integration services.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Leadership capabilities to inspire and motivate teams towards common goals.
