Senior Integration Developer

About the Job:
The role purpose is to work with multiple teams and business stakeholders to deliver a state-of-the-art integration experience through resilient, robust, and high-performance Omni-channel Microservice development.

Key Accountabilities:

• Advocate for improvements in product quality, security, and performance impacting teams and stakeholders.
• Solve complex technical problems and influence long-term goals within the team.
• Define and maintain internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices in a high-scale backend environment.
• Drive innovation, experiment, and confront complex challenges.
• Identify "technical debt" and propose solutions to enhance team efficiency.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders as a consultant and spokesperson for the team’s work.
• Mentor all engineers to support their growth and remove barriers to their autonomy.
• Ship large features and improvements with minimal guidance.
• Collaborate on larger projects and contribute to the team's engineering strategy.
• Evaluate and create new product features alongside the product team and participate in team roadmapping.

Technical Skills Required:

• Production-ready code that is easily testable and understandable.
• Proficient in systematic debugging and monitoring based on the organization's standards.
• Expertise in domain-specific architecture and services.
• Security-first mindset in collaboration with the security team.

Previous Experience:

• 12+ years of software development experience using Java/JEE/Spring frameworks.
• 3+ years designing large-scale distributed systems.
• Certifications in TOGAF/Azure Solutions Architect/AWS Solutions Architect/GCP Solution Architect.
• Experience with Microservices, container, and cloud-native application development.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Knowledge of static code analysis, unit testing, and automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, SonarQube, GIT, Maven, Gradle.
• Experience with application servers (e.g., JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere).
• Agile experience in Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Knowledge of database technologies (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB).
• Previous experience in a DevOps-focused environment is a significant advantage.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
