Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software developers and other engineers to define integration requirements and specifications.
- Design and implement integration bridges between the various systems of the autonomous flight stack, all the way to deployment into production.
- Build and maintain comprehensive documentation of SW configurations.
- Be a key player in preparation and maintenance of SW releases.
- Discover, document, track, and solve SW issues.
- Closely engage with the end users to provide guidance and support.
- Develop orchestration tools and APIs for reproducible system deployments, release generation, debugging, etc.
- Build and extend CI/CD pipelines for a multitude of distributed components.
- Monitor and improve the performance of integration pipelines.
Requirements
- BSc / MSc degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Integration Engineer or in a similar role.
- Experience working with embedded systems, including hands-on with the HW.
- In-depth understanding of the SW validation processes and tools involved.
- Strong skills with Python and Bash for automation / CICD.
- Experience working with Jenkins / GitHub Actions or similar.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and writing to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, even under time pressure.
- Desire to learn and engage with new technologies and practices.
Nice-to-have Qualifications
- Experience with autonomous systems development, especially UAVs, is a huge plus.
- UAV pilot license is a huge plus.
- Experience building HIL / CICD systems from the ground up.
- Familiarity with TypeScript/JavaScript for packaging, front-end development.
- Familiarity with Golang, Rust, C.
