As an experienced Senior Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions across all systems of a cutting-edge UAV SW stack. You will engage with leading domain experts, learning about and finding the best solutions for their integration and automation requirements. Working hands-on with in-house developed hardware and software, including flight controllers and mission computers, you will shape the way these systems are integrated and validated. Your understanding of integration processes and problem-solving skills will be crucial in providing the best possible service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software developers and other engineers to define integration requirements and specifications.
- Design and implement integration bridges between the various systems of the autonomous flight stack, up to deployment into production.
- Build and maintain comprehensive documentation of software configurations.
- Prepare and maintain software releases, discovering, documenting, tracking, and solving software issues.
- Engage closely with end users to provide guidance and support.
- Develop orchestration tools and APIs for reproducible system deployments, release generation, debugging, etc.
- Build and extend CI/CD pipelines for a multitude of distributed components.
- Monitor and improve the performance of integration pipelines.

Must-have Qualifications:
- BSc / MSc degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Integration Engineer or in a similar role.
- Experience working with embedded systems, including hands-on with hardware.
- In-depth understanding of software validation processes and tools.
- Strong skills in Python and Bash for automation / CI/CD.
- Experience with Jenkins / GitHub Actions or similar.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under time pressure.
- Desire to learn and engage with new technologies and practices.

Nice-to-have Qualifications:
- Experience with autonomous systems development, especially UAVs.
- UAV pilot license.
- Experience building HIL / CI/CD systems from the ground up.
- Familiarity with cross-organization and cross-system integration at scale.
- Familiarity with TypeScript/JavaScript for packaging and front-end development.
- Familiarity with Golang, Rust, or C.
