Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software developers and other engineers to define integration requirements and specifications.
- Design and implement integration bridges between the various systems of the autonomous flight stack, all the way to deployment into production.
- Build up and maintain comprehensive documentation of SW configurations.
- Be a key player in preparation and maintenance of SW releases.
- Discover, document, track, and solve SW issues.
- Closely engage with the end users to provide guidance and support.
- Develop orchestration tools and APIs for reproducible system deployments, release generation, debugging, etc.
- Build and extend CI/CD pipelines for a multitude of distributed components.
- Monitor and improve the performance of integration pipelines.
Requirements
Must-have Qualifications
- MSc/BSc degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- 4+ years of experience as an Integration Engineer or in similar roles.
- Experience working with embedded systems, including hands-on with the hardware.
- Ability to independently drive topics from an idea to a proof of concept to a final solution.
- Excellent understanding of the software validation processes and tools involved.
- In-depth understanding of modern CI/CD practices, e.g., SCA, HIL.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams distributed around the world.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, even under pressure.
- Deep passion for learning and engaging with new technologies and people.
Nice-to-have Qualifications
- Development and/or integration experience with autonomous systems, especially UAVs, is a huge plus.
- In-depth understanding of Linux and its configuration, kernel, and up.
- Experience with cross-organization, cross-system integration at scale.
- Strong skills with Python and Bash for automation / CI/CD.
- Experience working with Jenkins / GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with TypeScript/JavaScript for packaging, front-end development.
- Familiarity with Golang, Rust, C.
