In this position, you will be responsible for managing a team of systems engineering personnel, estimating project staffing needs, scheduling and assigning work, as well as preparing estimates and work plans. You will ensure that systems engineering tasks are completed according to scope, schedule, and budget while complying with Bechtel and client requirements.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement interface and integration strategies across all project phases.
- Plan staffing needs to ensure seamless interface and integration management.
- Identify, document, and manage technical and operational interfaces between disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Lead interface coordination meetings and workshops to resolve conflicts and align deliverables.
- Ensure integration of design, construction, and operational requirements across packages.
- Monitor interface risks and develop mitigation plans to avoid delays or scope gaps.
- Maintain interface registers and integration dashboards to track progress and dependencies.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment.
- Support change management processes and assess the impact of design or schedule changes on interfaces.
- Report regularly to senior leadership on interface status, risks, and resolution strategies.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 15-20 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience managing interfaces across civil, structural, MEP, ICT, and operational systems.
- Familiarity with systems engineering, BIM, and digital collaboration platforms.
- Strong understanding of the project lifecycle, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.
