Senior IT Audit

Deloitte is seeking a Senior in IT Audit for their Audit & Assurance team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will contribute to engagement planning by performing business process understanding along with financial audit teams to identify the scope for IT Audit procedures, including tests of automated controls, data analysis, and other audit procedures addressing financial audit risks.

Key responsibilities include preparing and communicating the IT Audit Plan, budget, and timelines to the IT Audit Manager, conducting fieldwork and audit procedures such as IT risk assessments, interface controls, and reporting preparation. You will be tasked with communicating engagement issues and findings to senior management, ensuring quality in client service delivery, and maintaining strong client relationships. You will report directly to managers and Senior Managers on the status of engagements while managing client expectations and relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Computer, or Management Information Systems.
• CISA or other relevant certification is a plus.
• 6 or more years of related experience in professional services, IT External Audit, or IT Internal Audit, preferably in Financial Services or the Telecommunication Industry.
• Strong background in auditing techniques and/or computer control environments within these industries.
• Ability to plan and manage fieldwork, ensuring deliverables meet specifications and deadlines.
• Experience in testing general IT controls, applications, operating systems, and databases.
• Proficient in understanding business processes and identifying/testing automated application controls.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, and commitment to delivering tangible outcomes.
• Willingness to work hours as needed to meet deadlines.
