Position

As a Senior in IT Audit at Deloitte, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the audit and assurance processes. You will contribute to engagement planning by performing business process understanding alongside financial audit teams to identify the scope for IT Audit procedures. Your responsibilities include preparing and communicating the IT Audit plan, budget, and timelines to the IT Audit Manager, engaging in fieldwork, and conducting audit procedures such as IT risk assessment, testing automated application controls, and preparing reports.

During your tenure, you will also be responsible for:

  • Communicating engagement issues and findings to senior management and clients.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Ensuring quality in client service delivery.
  • Managing multiple concurrent engagements across various industries.

You will report directly to managers and Senior Managers regarding the status of engagements and interface with clients' management to manage relationships and expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Computer, or Management Information Systems.
  • 6 or more years of experience in professional services, IT external audit, or IT internal audit, preferably in the Financial Services or Telecommunication Industry.
  • Strong background in auditing techniques and computer control environments.
  • Proficiency in testing general IT controls and understanding business processes in the relevant industries.

Key Skills:

  • Ability to plan and manage fieldwork, ensuring deliverables meet specifications and deadlines.
  • Strong proficiency in basic PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with knowledge of data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and conduct extensive research.
