About the Job:
As a Senior in IT Audit at Deloitte, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in various key areas. Your role will involve contributing to engagement planning by performing business process understanding alongside financial audit teams to identify the scope for IT Audit procedures. This includes preparation and communication of the IT Audit Plan, conducting audit procedures such as IT risk assessments, testing automated/application controls, and preparing reports.

You will communicate engagement issues and findings to senior management and client personnel, ensuring a strong client relationship through effective interactions. Delivering exceptional client service while adhering to professional standards and executing multiple concurrent engagements will be crucial in your role. You will report directly to managers and partners on the status of engagements and will be expected to manage client relationships and expectations effectively.
Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Business Computer, or Management Information Systems.
- CISA or other relevant certification is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of related experience in professional services, IT External Audit, or IT Internal Audit, preferably within the Financial Services Industry and with a Big 4 Audit Firm.
- Strong auditing techniques and computer control environments knowledge is required.
- Proven ability to plan and manage fieldwork, ensuring deliverables meet specifications and deadlines.
- Experience in testing general IT controls and system-generated reports.
- Proficient in understanding business processes and testing automated application controls.
- Ability to conduct risk mitigation procedures effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, a team player attitude, and a passion for delivering tangible outcomes.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet client deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a general understanding of data analysis techniques.
- Capability to work under pressure and conduct extensive research.
