Senior IT Engineer - Infrastructure

About the Job:
Synechron is seeking a Senior IT Engineer - Infrastructure with 15+ years of experience. The incumbent will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of infrastructure demands, ensuring alignment with business priorities and governance standards. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive Business Case Documents (BCDs), coordinating with Infrastructure Service Teams, acting as a liaison between stakeholders, and maintaining high-quality documentation for governance purposes. The role also involves providing infrastructure demand forecasts and supporting prioritization of initiatives within the technology portfolio.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or Business Administration
• 15+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, IT strategy, or enterprise architecture
• Strong understanding of infrastructure domains (cloud, storage, network, compute) and their business impact

Preferred Skills:

• Expertise in enterprise governance tools (e.g., Clarity, ServiceNow, Jira)
• Familiarity with financial modeling and investment planning
• Certifications such as PMP, TOGAF, ITIL, or equivalent
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills
