What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide first-line support to users who contact the help desk by phone or email.
- Respond to calls and emails from end users needing assistance throughout the day, troubleshooting help desk tickets for both on-site and remote users.
- Investigate user problems, identify their causes, determine possible solutions, and test and implement appropriate resolutions.
- Troubleshoot applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational issues.
- Research and analyze trends in help desk tickets submitted by team members.
- Assist with network and PC preventive maintenance activities and maintain company antivirus systems to help ensure data integrity.
- Coordinate daily IT requests, including adding and deleting users, maintaining email groups, and handling other miscellaneous IT-related requests.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Over 8 years of experience working in a technical operations or IT support environment is preferred.
- Experience with user software testing, evaluation, and operational procedures in a networked environment is strongly preferred.
- Ability to provide effective support to both on-site and remote users.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues before escalating them.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
