Position

The Senior IT Enterprise Solutions Business Analyst is a pivotal member of the IT team, tasked with aligning enterprise technology systems with business objectives to enhance operational excellence and drive digital transformation. This role concentrates on analyzing complex business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and supporting the design, implementation, and enhancement of major enterprise systems, including ERP (Oracle, SAP), IBM Maximo, and other strategic platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis & Solution Design:

    • Lead the analysis, mapping, and redesign of enterprise business processes across various departments (Finance, Procurement, HR, Logistics).
    • Gather, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements from internal stakeholders.
    • Translate business requirements into detailed solution specifications for developers and vendors.
    • Conduct gap assessments, feasibility studies, and impact analyses for new or modified enterprise solutions.
    • Prepare comprehensive business process flows, use cases, test cases, and user stories.
  • Enterprise Systems Support:

    • Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of enterprise systems such as ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, SAP) and Asset Management Systems (preferably IBM Maximo).
    • Ensure solutions align with business goals and IT architecture standards.
    • Collaborate with vendors, internal IT teams, and solution architects for successful project delivery and system integration.
  • Project Delivery & Change Management:

    • Support full project lifecycle activities, including planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), go-live, training, change management, and post-implementation support.
    • Monitor solution performance, analyze user adoption, and recommend improvements.
    • Develop training materials, user guides, and facilitate workshops for key users and stakeholders.
  • Governance, Compliance & Documentation:

    • Ensure all IT solutions comply with governance frameworks, internal policies, and external standards (ISO 20000, ISO 42001).
    • Contribute to internal audits and documentation for compliance and certification purposes.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in business analysis or enterprise system implementation, with hands-on experience in Oracle EBS, SAP, or other ERP platforms. Experience with Asset Management Systems, particularly IBM Maximo, and core business domains such as Finance, Procurement, HR, Operations, and Logistics is essential.

  • Technical & Functional Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach.
    • Familiarity with UML, BPMN, or other process modeling techniques.
    • Proficiency in documentation and requirement specification writing.
    • Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills & Competencies:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional leadership.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Customer-centric mindset with strong business acumen.
    • Proven ability to mentor junior analysts.
  • Preferred Certifications & Industry Experience:

    • Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Six Sigma, ITIL, TOGAF, or familiarity with ISO 20000 implementation.
    • Experience in port operations, logistics, or supply chain industries.
    • Working knowledge of data tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI) for analysis and reporting.
