Senior IT Procurement Officer

The Senior IT Procurement Officer will manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle related to the Information Technology Department. The role includes acting as a Senior Buyer for the IT category, soliciting proposals from vendors, and negotiating terms and conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive RFQs/RFPs from IT requesters and initiate vendor communication and negotiation.
• Prepare procurement plans in collaboration with end users and create contracts for all engagements.
• Ensure timely accommodation of all IT-related procurement requests to avoid delays.
• Maintain proper vendor communication and ensure adherence to VMCP policies and procedures.
• Lead contract drafting, review, and execution with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide assistance to all internal customers and perform special tasks as required.

Requirements

• Must have IT procurement experience or be IT by profession.
• Preferred CIPS qualified or have active membership.
• Banking experience is preferred.
