Senior IT Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager for a prestigious government sector project in Sharjah. This role demands a strong background in delivering enterprise-level IT projects, particularly in cloud, cybersecurity, ERP, and digital transformation, with a clear understanding of UAE public sector standards and practices.

Location: Sharjah, Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions:

• Mode: On-site
• Contract Duration: 12+ Months (Long-Term)
• Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Notice Period: Max 30 Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery: scope definition, scheduling, resource planning, and execution
• Oversee IT infrastructure, software development, and digital initiatives
• Coordinate with business units, vendors, and government stakeholders
• Manage risk, compliance, and project budgets effectively
• Apply Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies as needed
• Ensure adherence to IT governance frameworks (ISO 27001, ITIL, UAE standards)
• Provide regular reporting to leadership and conduct post-project reviews

Desired Profile:

• Fluent in Arabic (mandatory)
• Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 8–12 years of total experience in IT project management
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects in government or enterprise settings
• Strong understanding of ITSM, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and ERP systems
• Certifications preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, Agile, CSM
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
