We have an immediate opening for a Senior IT Support Engineer in one of our Fulfillment Centers. Fulfillment Centers handle millions of items from tens of thousands of vendors and ship them across the globe each day. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of their areas of responsibility and will manage changes effectively. You will build and operate infrastructure environments and provide critical input to ensure that our platform is designed with operability in mind, ensuring that all work around infrastructure progresses successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Join a team that oversees operations following customer purchases.
  • Manage build and deployment projects, focusing on pre-delivery environments.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation to meet customer demands.
  • Tackle complex problems to support the growth of Amazon’s fulfillment network.

What You Will Bring:

  • A high degree of ownership within the IT infrastructure.
  • Experience in deployment and collaboration with third-party vendors.
  • A curious and innovative mindset focused on improving processes.
  • Strong teamwork abilities and a willingness to share knowledge.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams.
  • Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience troubleshooting in a multi-user high-availability environment.
  • 2+ years of networking experience (e.g., DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP).
  • 2+ years providing support for Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems.
  • Bachelor's degree.
