You will report to the IT Manager and work closely with various teams to implement and maintain critical infrastructure while providing day-to-day support to meet business needs. Additionally, you will serve as an escalation point for IT Support Technicians and remote support teams on technical issues.
Responsibilities include:
- Implement and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring optimum performance of all IT equipment.
- Liaise with global Subject Matter Expert (SME) teams for installation and maintenance of networking and server infrastructure.
- Manage projects at the site level, including change management requests and project plans.
- Perform site audits to ensure compliance with Amazon IT and Health & Safety guidelines.
- Act as a point of contact for contractors and external suppliers, clearly communicating technical issues.
- Provide mentoring and training to technicians and other engineers, and support the recruitment of new talent.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP).
- 3+ years of experience with Windows Server technologies (AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM).
- 4+ years of technical support experience.
- 4+ years of experience in supporting Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience supporting a Windows server environment.
- Experience supporting video conferencing and teleconferencing equipment.
