As an IT Support Engineer, you will report to the IT Manager and will be responsible for implementing and maintaining critical infrastructure elements as well as providing day-to-day support for our operations.
You will be an escalation point for the team of IT Support Technicians and will interface between local and remote support teams. Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring that all IT equipment and infrastructure runs optimally
- Liaise with global SME teams for the installation and maintenance of networking and server infrastructure
- Manage and oversee site audits to ensure adherence to Amazon IT and Health & Safety guidelines
- Act as a point of contact for contractors, external suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Undertake project management duties, including providing technical and management support
- Interact with suppliers and manage equipment purchases in accordance with policies
- Produce weekly reports covering metrics and work performed
- Provide mentoring and training to technicians and support recruitment for OpsTechIT
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of Windows Server technologies (AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM)
- 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment
- 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation experience
- 1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience
- 2+ years of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP)
- 2+ years of corporate setting support experience (Windows, Mac, or Linux)
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of computer networking experience
- Experience supporting video conference and teleconference equipment
This role requires a candidate who is customer-focused and can deliver an outstanding level of service. There may also be a requirement for occasional travel.
