Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our innovative team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing server-side web application logic. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure the responsiveness and performance of applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
- Implement effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
- Run diagnostic tests, repair defects, and provide technical support.
- Document the Java codebase, including flowcharts and technical documentation.
- Design and implement data storage solutions.
- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design cohesive code to enhance user experience.
- Perform code reviews and debug applications.
- Utilize Java development frameworks and release tools.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Backend Developer.
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
- Hands-on experience with programming languages like Java.
- Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, and CSS).
- Excellent analytical and time management skills.
- Strong teamwork capabilities with a problem-solving attitude.
- BSc degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- Knowledge of Java development frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
