This position supports ongoing projects such as e-ID and e-Passport for KSA, as well as programs in Oman, Qatar, and other regions. Applicants should expect significant travel when needed.
Key responsibilities include analyzing requirements and building architecture and design of enterprise solutions; conducting backend/frontend development using Java with state-of-the-art frameworks and legacy components of Java EE technologies (JSP, Servlets, EJB, Web services); employing database skills (SQL, JDBC) using any RDBMS; and working with application servers like Websphere/JBoss and web servers like Tomcat/Apache. Additionally, the role involves maintaining documentation, troubleshooting and optimizing architecture, code, data structure, bandwidth, memory, and CPU usage of the server, while proactively communicating with peers and project stakeholders.
Candidates must hold an engineering degree in computer science, be Arabic speakers with fluent English skills, and have at least 7 years of professional experience in software development, with proven experience in complex software projects. Preferred skills include knowledge of Cloud, Micro-services, and C# programming; familiarity with smart card technology and cryptography; experience using planning and scheduling tools like MS Project; and familiarity with version control systems and issue tracking.
