The Senior Java Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications. This role involves collaboration with other developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to create high-quality and innovative software solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the development team to ideate software solutions and deliver new features.
- Communicating with clients and service providers to align technical requirements.
- Designing and developing high-performance and scalable back-end systems.
- Developing and managing well-functioning databases and applications.
- Creating effective APIs and security/data protection settings.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Testing software for responsiveness and efficiency, and debugging issues.
- Writing technical documentation and staying updated with new tools and technologies.

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, design patterns, software architecture, and database design.
- Experience with Java Spring Boot and Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with web services and API security techniques (JWT, Spring Security, OAuth2).
- Knowledge of data security and encryption/decryption algorithms is a plus.
- Experience with Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, and Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SOA and microservices architecture.
- Proficient with version control systems like Git and BitBucket, and knowledge of Linux systems.
- Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, teamwork, and communication skills.
Work Conditions: On-site, Contract
Salary: 19,000 AED per month
