Senior Lead Backend Engineer

In this role, you will work closely with the product team to build the core digital infrastructure for a next-generation energy company. You will be responsible for engineering backend infrastructure that is second to none.

Responsibilities:

• Construct a real-time digital twin of our renewable generation and customer demand
• Develop messaging interfaces with our third-party providers
• Build high-volume pipelines for processing customer energy consumption
• Develop the backend of a world-class energy app

Requirements:

• Demonstrable excellence as a Software Engineer
• Ideally, 2+ years of experience
• Proven ability to define and build complex systems
• Hands-on experience shipping high-availability production systems
• Clear communication skills

Bonus Experience:

• Infrastructure as code (e.g., AWS CDK)
• Experience in the energy sector
• Experience shipping consumer-facing products
