Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess potential legal risks, claims, and disputes, providing recommendations on mitigation and resolution strategies.
- Lead the preparation of legal submissions, case documentation, witness statements, and supporting evidence.
- Represent the Legal function in discussions, negotiations, mediations, and settlement processes.
- Provide legal support to business units on contentious matters, regulatory inquiries, and dispute prevention initiatives.
- Monitor litigation trends, legal developments, and emerging risks that may impact the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in law; a Master's degree and/or professional legal qualification is preferred.
- 8+ years of post-qualification legal experience, with a strong focus on litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
- Experience managing complex disputes within a leading law firm, corporate legal department, or a combination of both.
- Experience managing external counsel and coordinating multi-stakeholder legal matters.
- Knowledge of Saudi legal and judicial frameworks and dispute resolution processes is preferred.
