Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Lead the accounting function and oversee all financial accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards and policies.
- Manage general ledger operations, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial close activities.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes and ensure timely submission of financial reports.
- Review and approve financial statements, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, corporate governance requirements, regulatory obligations, and internal control frameworks.
- Monitor and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and other accounting processes.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to finance teams and business stakeholders.
- Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements, regulatory filings, and audit requirements.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and financial analysis activities in collaboration with finance leadership.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and operational efficiency improvements across accounting functions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting teams while fostering a high-performance and compliance-focused culture.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
Professional Certifications
- CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, SOCPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification required or strongly preferred.
