About the Role
You will play a key role in building a predictable, high-accountability delivery system across multiple AI product and engineering squads. The role owns the cross-squad Agile cadence, delivery governance, dependency management, and leadership visibility needed to move complex initiatives from roadmap to production. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and business leaders, while coaching Scrum Masters and strengthening execution practices in a fast-moving environment where priorities and technical constraints can evolve quickly.

Responsibilities:
- Design and run the Agile delivery operating model across multiple product and engineering squads, with clear cadences, decision points, and accountability.
- Establish consistent sprint and program governance covering planning, backlog readiness, reviews, retrospectives, release coordination, and delivery health.
- Translate product roadmaps and strategic priorities into integrated delivery plans, milestones, sequencing, and measurable outcomes.
- Own cross-squad dependency management, surface constraints early, and drive decisions that protect critical paths and production commitments.
- Coach Scrum Masters and delivery practitioners on facilitation, flow, forecasting, risk management, and the practical application of Agile methods.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to improve backlog quality, capacity planning, prioritization, and the balance between feature delivery, technical work, and operational reliability.
- Define and monitor delivery metrics that reveal flow, predictability, quality, risk, and value without reducing delivery management to ceremony compliance.
- Build concise executive reporting that explains progress, material risks, dependencies, decisions required, and the confidence level behind delivery forecasts.
- Lead escalation and recovery for delivery risks, stalled dependencies, and execution gaps across programs, vendors, and internal teams.
- Improve delivery standards, tooling, and ways of working based on evidence, team feedback, and changing product or organizational needs.
- Create alignment across Product, Technology, Delivery, and senior leadership while preserving clear team ownership and fast decision-making.
Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
- 10–15 years of experience in Agile delivery, Scrum, program execution, or a closely related discipline within technology, AI, SaaS, or digital-product organizations.
- Proven experience leading delivery across several product and engineering squads, including shared dependencies and concurrent release commitments.
- Strong command of Agile and Scrum fundamentals, with the judgment to adapt practices to the work rather than apply a framework mechanically.
- Experience coaching Scrum Masters or delivery leads and raising execution maturity across teams.
- Ability to turn complex delivery data into clear forecasts, executive narratives, and actionable decisions.
- Strong systems thinking across product priorities, engineering constraints, capacity, risk, quality, and stakeholder commitments.
- Confidence operating through ambiguity, resolving competing priorities, and holding teams and leaders to explicit commitments.
- Clear, credible communication with technical teams and senior stakeholders, including the ability to challenge constructively.
- A structured, data-driven ownership mindset with consistent follow-through.
Nice to Have:
- SAFe, Certified Scrum Professional, Professional Scrum Master, or comparable Agile certification.
- Experience in a high-growth technology company, AI organization, leading technology firm, or consulting environment focused on product and engineering delivery.
- Exposure to AI/ML product lifecycles, platform delivery, enterprise-scale deployments, or regulated environments.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, portfolio planning tools, and delivery analytics.
