What You'll Deliver
- Lead Fire & Life Safety regulatory assurance and technical oversight, ensuring compliance with GCAA requirements, UAE Fire and Life Safety Code, international standards, and the company policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership, direction, and managerial oversight of a fire engineering team, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to manage project design consultations, design submission reviews, site inspections, and issuance of NOC documentation for current and future developments at Al Maktoum International Airport.
- Oversee the governance, development, and implementation of the FLS compliance framework, including policies and procedures. Monitor emergency preparedness, fire code compliance, audit inspections, and risk management processes to maintain resilient and effective Fire & Life Safety systems.
- Ensure governance, assurance, and continual improvement of fire and life safety across the aerodrome and associated airport facilities.
What You Bring
- A bachelor’s degree in Fire Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Emergency Management, Safety Management, Engineering, or Architecture, with a Master’s Degree being desirable.
- Working knowledge of fire design plans, including architectural and life safety layouts, fire protection, suppression, alarm systems, and emergency lighting systems. (CFPE qualification is desirable.)
- A minimum of 3 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong Fire Risk Assessment expertise, with a Fire Engineering qualification or recognized specialist certification.
