About the Role
This position involves performing hands-on infrastructure security design, configuration, integration, testing, and troubleshooting across the company's assets, districts, and city-wide programs. The goal is to ensure alignment with operational requirements, infrastructure strategies, security standards, and long-term city objectives. As a technical lead within the Asset Infrastructure Design & Delivery function, you will be directly implementing and validating security controls, resolving integration issues, and coordinating the requirements for cybersecurity, network security, and operational technology (OT) security. This role emphasizes not only strategy or governance but also the execution and continuous enhancement of infrastructure security frameworks, security blueprints, technical standards, and operational security readiness across various domains, including network, compute, OT, physical security, and smart city environments. Ultimately, this role is about ensuring scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Security Design & Standards
- Translate business needs, operational requirements, infrastructure strategies, and long-term city objectives into secure-by-design solutions for the company's assets, districts, and city-wide programs.
- Develop and maintain security architecture principles, frameworks, blueprints, and technical standards, incorporating lessons from delivery.
Implementation & Integration
- Deploy, implement, configure, and harden security controls across network, compute, OT, infrastructure systems, and smart city environments.
- Integrate cybersecurity, network security, OT security, physical security, and operational security requirements into a cohesive technical solution.
- Troubleshoot integration failures, resolve technical conflicts, and remediate vulnerabilities to strengthen infrastructure resilience.
Technical Assurance, Testing & Handover
- Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and compliance checks against approved architecture, security standards, and regulatory expectations; define mitigation measures and escalate critical risks.
- Perform and lead security testing and commissioning to verify that implemented systems and controls meet approved designs and operational requirements.
- Assess operational readiness for acceptance and handover, including incident preparedness, business continuity, and critical infrastructure protection.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Professional Certifications
- CISSP, CISM, PMP, or equivalent certifications (preferred).

- Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English and Arabic.
