Strategic Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Business Solutions and Digital Transformation strategy aligned with organizational priorities and the enterprise technology roadmap.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives that modernize platforms, digitize processes, and enhance user experience across investment and corporate functions.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, and AI-enabled enhancements that deliver measurable business value.
  • Oversee the enterprise application portfolio, ensuring solutions are integrated, scalable, secure, and fit for purpose.
  • Ensure strict governance over solution design, delivery, and lifecycle management in compliance with architecture and security standards.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Business Solutions & Application Delivery

    • Oversee delivery, enhancement, and support of enterprise business applications (e.g., ERP, Investment systems, workflow platforms).
    • Lead business process design and re-engineering initiatives, including the creation of process maps, mind maps, and solution blueprints that convert business needs into actionable system designs.
    • Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, data, and cybersecurity teams to translate business requirements into solution designs.
    • Modernize legacy systems through cloud adoption, platform consolidation, and digital enablement.
  2. Digital Transformation, Automation & AI Enablement

    • Implement digital transformation initiatives that prioritize process digitization, simplification & automation, supported by precise process models and future-state designs.
    • Define automation and AI use cases utilizing structured techniques such as process decomposition and value-stream mapping.
    • Integrate AI-enabled capabilities (e.g., intelligent automation, decision support) within business solutions while ensuring governance controls.
  3. Stakeholder & Demand Management

    • Serve as the primary technology liaison for business units, overseeing demand intake, prioritization, and delivery.
    • Conduct requirements workshops and solution design thinking sessions, maintaining clear communication regarding scope, timelines, and outcomes.
  4. Governance, Risk & Vendor Management

    • Ensure compliance of all solutions with IT governance, architecture standards, cybersecurity policies, and data governance requirements.
    • Manage relationships with application vendors and digital solution providers, overseeing SLAs and delivery performance.
    • Assist with audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews related to business systems and digital platforms.

People & Capability Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Business Solutions team, enhancing delivery and digital transformation capabilities.
  • Foster modern delivery practices, continuous improvement, and a customer-centric mindset.

Requirements
Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, TOGAF) are preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • 12–15 years of experience in IT or digital solution delivery.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role managing enterprise applications or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in financial services, investment organizations, or sovereign wealth funds is strongly preferred.
  • Proven history in delivering complex, enterprise-wide technology and digital transformation programs.

Technical Expertise / Skills / Knowledge

  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise applications, digital platforms, and automation technologies.
  • Solid grasp of AI concepts and their application in enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with systems integration, cloud platforms, and application modernization.
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication abilities.
  • Capability to translate business strategy into effective digital and technology solutions.
  • Working knowledge of application architectures and integrations, including programming and automation design concepts.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments.
