Position

The role is responsible for designing, implementing, and sustaining a comprehensive data governance framework that ensures the integrity, quality, consistency, privacy, and compliance of data across the organization. This position emphasizes data as a strategic enterprise asset to enable informed decision-making, regulatory reporting, and digital transformation. The Senior Manager ensures compliance with all applicable local and international data management regulations and standards throughout the data lifecycle. The role also provides expert oversight and guidance on data governance best practices, including data classification, handling, protection, and ethical usage.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise-wide data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Establish data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models across all business functions.
  • Lead the adoption of data governance principles to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Define and monitor key data quality metrics (accuracy, completeness, timeliness, consistency).
  • Implement data quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Lead root cause analysis and resolution of data-related issues.
  • Assure compliance with KSA data governance regulations and policies.
  • Develop internal standards to guide data capture and validation, access, usage, masking, storage, archival, and retention.
  • Collaborate with different functions to implement data governance policies and standards.
  • Enforce necessary controls and comply with all related information security policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary level qualification from an internationally recognized institution.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in data management governance.
  • Experience in developing internal data policies and processes.
  • Strong understanding of ethical laws, policies, and regulations impacting data management.
  • Up-to-date on industry developments and emerging issues in data.
