Key Responsibilities:
- Product Ownership: Manage the emerging payments and settlement services product portfolio, and develop propositions for digital currencies and assets.
- Value Proposition Development: Identify and evaluate market trends in emerging payments and digital currencies, and devise strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
- New Product Development and Rollout: Innovate and commercialize emerging payment solutions and digital currency propositions leveraging evolving technologies.
- Customer and Deal Solutioning: Lead product solutions for specific requests for proposals and tailored client needs.
- Regulator Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and external market participants, including regulators, on consultations, proof-of-concept projects, pilots, and industry collaborations.
- Risk Management and Product Reviews: Assess and mitigate risks associated with new emerging payment products and digital currencies.
- Marketing and Thought Leadership: Promote the company’s position in the emerging payments and digital currencies space through media and marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
- Technology Savvy: Strong knowledge of DLT, Blockchain, DeFi, AI/ML, and their applications in new payment systems and digital assets.
- Relevant Experience: Proven experience in B2B/Wholesale Payments, Cash Management, or Transaction Banking. Familiarity with DeFi and digital currencies is advantageous.
- Emerging Payments Landscape: In-depth insights into digital currencies and assets market trends, competition, disruptors, and related regulations.
- Industry Standards: Comprehensive understanding of payments industry standards (e.g., SWIFT, CLS) and settlement models.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to work effectively in a diverse team and communicate across various levels and functions.
- Client Understanding: Deep understanding of the wholesale payment client base regarding emerging payments and digital currency needs.
- Educational Requirement: A relevant graduation degree is necessary to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
