Senior Manager | Engineering AI & Data | Data Modernization (GPS)

The company is seeking a Senior Manager in the Engineering AI & Data division, focusing on Data Modernization for the public sector. The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand both business and technical requirements, translating them into custom architectures tailored to client needs. The role involves modernizing traditional data platforms and implementing end-to-end Agentic AI architectures with a focus on governance and orchestration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead large implementations of data platforms across the public sector.
• Design and maintain physical data models for data warehouses and operational databases.
• Develop real-time/event-based data engineering pipelines and ingestion pipelines from various data sources.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to define technical solutions.
• Conduct data source analysis and performance tuning of data processing workflows.

Technical Capabilities:

• Proficient in data engineering tools and languages such as Informatica, Talend, T-SQL, Python, and Spark.
• Experience with SQL-based databases and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and performance optimization techniques.

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another science-related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience, with a strong background in data engineering and architecture, specifically in the public sector.
• Arabic speaker preferred; good command of written and spoken English.

Travel Requirements:

• Willingness to travel across the GCC region (up to 75% of the time).
