Senior Manager | Engineering AI & Data | Financial Services

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Manager for the AI & Data team within Financial Services. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work for one of the largest and most prestigious professional services firms, recognized for excellence in the region.

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate technical capabilities in programming languages (SAS, Python, R, Scala) for data manipulation, analysis, and model development.
• Utilize machine learning algorithms and frameworks (TensorFlow, scikit-learn, PyTorch) for data-driven solutions.
• Perform statistical analysis and develop mathematical models.
• Engage with big data processing tools (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement predictive models related to business applications like customer segmentation and demand forecasting.
• Communicate complex findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders and ensure adherence to data governance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of practical experience in data science or related roles, with over 5 years in financial services.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel across the GCC region (50-75% of time).

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a Big Four firm or Global System Integrators is advantageous.
• Professional certification in relevant tools or platforms.
• Publications or patents in Data Science topics would be considered an asset.
