Position

As a Senior Manager in Engineering AI & Data at the company, you will be at the forefront of delivering innovative insights and solving complex challenges within the Energy Resources Industry, particularly focusing on data science and advanced analytics. You will leverage your 10–15 years of experience in applied data science, advanced analytics, and AI, specifically within the oil and gas upstream sector. Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing machine learning techniques for series forecasting, anomaly detection, predictive analysis, and optimization.
  • Driving models to support forecasting and decision-making, utilizing data frameworks like Spark and Databricks.
  • Managing cloud ML and data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) while ensuring integration with enterprise data lakes.
  • Leading technical client workshops and translating technical outputs into actionable business recommendations.
  • Overseeing engagement financials, resource planning, risk management, and delivery quality.

Location: Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
Willingness to travel across the GCC region (50–75% of time). Flexible work hours.

Technical Capabilities:

  • Experience in MLOps, including containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Competence in model governance, explainability, validation, and performance monitoring in regulated environments.
  • Strong background in client engagement, business development, and managing client relationships.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering (Petroleum/Process), or a related discipline.
  • 10–15 years of experience in data science, analytics, or AI roles within the oil & gas industry.
  • Strong technical proficiency in data science, cloud platforms, and MLOps tooling.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent in English (written and spoken).

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a consulting role, particularly with leading consulting firms or global system integrators.
  • Familiarity with International Oil Companies (IOCs) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Arabic language is a plus.
  • Publications or recognized contributions in AI/ML or industry analytics are advantageous.
