Senior Manager | Engineering AI & Data

The company is seeking a Senior Manager in Engineering AI & Data specializing in Data Modernization. This role is critical in leveraging advanced AI and data engineering practices to address complex client challenges and drive sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and translate business and technical requirements into custom architecture solutions based on client needs.
• Modernize traditional data platform architectures using Agentic AI concepts.
• Lead the design and implementation of data engineering pipelines using tools such as Informatica, Talend, Pentaho, T-SQL, Python, and Spark.
• Manage data ingestion from various sources including APIs, Web Services, Databases, and Object Storage.
• Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Technical Capabilities:

• Proven hands-on experience in data platform implementations across the public sector.
• Expertise in SQL, data modeling for data warehouses and operational databases, and real-time event-based data engineering pipelines.
• Experience with Data Engineering frameworks, including best practices for data quality, optimization, and deployment using DevOps methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 6 years in Data Engineering and Architecture.
• Experience in the public sector is essential.
• Arabic language proficiency is preferred.

Language Requirements:

• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Arabic speaker is preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with Big Four firms or Global System Integrators is a plus.
• Professional certifications related to the role or tools used will be an advantage.

Travel Requirements:

• Willingness to travel across the GCC region (up to 75% of the time).
