The Enterprise Security Architect leads and governs enterprise-wide security architecture across all platforms and businesses. Responsibilities

  • Lead and mature the Security Architecture capability across the Group, including standards, principles, reference architectures, and design governance.
  • Define and maintain security architecture standards, reference architectures, patterns, and reusable blueprints (cloud landing zone controls, identity patterns, logging patterns, encryption patterns, secure integration).
  • Own and approve security architecture and design for major programs, platforms, and transformation initiatives.
  • Own the end-to-end application security architecture engagement across the delivery lifecycle, from early concept through to production and ongoing change.
  • Define and operate a risk-based, iterative security architecture review model, integrated into agile and product delivery ways of working.
  • Provide architectural leadership for cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), including secure landing zones and shared responsibility models.
  • Continuously assess emerging technologies and threat trends and translate them into actionable architecture guidance.
  • Define and report architecture KPIs (review cycle time, exception trends, repeat findings, pattern adoption).

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Information Security, with significant experience in security architecture roles.
  • Experience in regulated or high-risk environments (e.g., financial services, retail at scale, critical infrastructure).
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in cyber security, computer science, engineering, or a technology-related field, or equivalent.
  • CISSP, CCSP, CREST Registered Technical Security Architect.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP – Security specialization preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
