About the Role
Step into the role of Senior Manager – Record to Report in the region. Reporting to the Director – Record to Report, you will oversee financial reporting, management reporting, and regulatory reporting processes. Your responsibilities include ensuring process efficiency, reporting accuracy, and fostering collaboration across functions while actively supporting continuous improvement and optimization within the Group Services Finance function. You will lead a team of approximately five to seven direct reports, promoting customer-centricity and service excellence aligned with the Group Services shared vision.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Support the financial reporting strategy and ensure alignment with corporate financial goals.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, local regulatory standards, internal policies, and established reporting protocols.
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and management reports that provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
- Manage the financial consolidation process and review financial statement footnotes and disclosures.
- Develop and maintain management reports and dashboards for senior management.
- Analyse financial results and prepare variance analyses comparing actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with the FP&A team to align financial reporting with financial planning and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and deadlines and implement changes arising from updated reporting standards.
- Liaise with external auditors and support the audit process.
- Collaborate with Group Services Finance teams to ensure that financial information is accurate and current.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for critical reporting issues, coordinating with IT and other stakeholders to enable timely resolution.
- Build strong working relationships with finance, internal audit, business operations, and other internal stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain internal controls relating to financial reporting.
- Monitor adherence to risk-assessment frameworks and identify appropriate controls to address process or system vulnerabilities.
- Identify and implement reporting process improvements, including automation tools and reporting systems.
- Drive initiatives that reduce reporting cycle times, improve accuracy, and reduce manual activities.
- Align Record to Report processes across subsidiaries while maintaining appropriate flexibility.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
- Lead, supervise, and develop a team of Assistant Managers, Senior Associates, and Associates.
- Monitor team objectives, priorities, capability development, and operational performance.
- Foster a customer-centric, service-oriented culture that encourages innovation and high performance.
About You
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional certification such as CA, CPA or ACCA.
Experience
- At least seven years of experience in financial reporting, general ledger, and financial close processes, or similar experience.
- Strong expertise in financial controls, compliance, and governance frameworks.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and service excellence.
- Strong leadership and relationship-management skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of finance functions and processes.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in the real estate sector or related sectors.
- Experience working in a finance shared-services environment.
- Experience working in the Middle East region.
Technical Skills and Competencies
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion and FCCS.
- Experience with tools and technologies such as ARCS and AI-driven analytics.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting requirements.
