The Economics, Data and Statistics Sector at NEOM is establishing a new Statistics Office to yield robust data and statistics concerning the population, economy, and other vital sectors. We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Senior Manager of Business and Price Statistics to oversee the collection, analysis, and dissemination of economic data. This position is crucial for generating accurate and timely statistics that guide decision-making.

Statistics Production:
- Manage the production of Business and Price Statistics, covering various aspects of business structures, performance, and economic cycles.
- Produce price indices, including Consumer Price Index and Producer Price Index, in alignment with international standards.
- Maintain a business register for all enterprises in NEOM.
- Automate data flows and identify new data sources for the relevant statistics.

Statistical Design, Processing, and Analysis:
- Design statistical products following international standards, making use of NEOM’s advanced digitalization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate research questions and apply modern statistical methodologies (including AI/ML) to process data.

Statistical Quality and Reporting:
- Maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
- Establish data quality protocols and auditing processes.
- Communicate statistical findings through reports, presentations, and visualizations.

Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders related to Business and Price Statistics.
- Build strong professional relationships with relevant entities in the Saudi Arabian economy and with data owners.

Organizational Strategy Management:
- Lead necessary innovations within the Statistics Office in line with NEOM’s strategic goals.
Experience & Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Business and Price Statistics within a statistics office or similar analytical environment.
- Proficiency in statistical methodologies, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Familiarity with international standards of official statistics and expertise in statistical software (R, Python, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in project management with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Qualifications:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
