We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to join our Solution Architecture & Planning team for a high-impact engagement — a groundbreaking initiative to build a sustainable, hyper-connected, and technologically advanced city in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will contribute to a strategic Application Rationalization Assessment, shaping the future digital backbone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate client requirements into innovative, scalable, and deliverable infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with sales pursuit and delivery teams to craft winning solutions that support the client’s business case.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Infrastructure Services with strong advisory, influence, and leadership capabilities.
- Lead and guide cross-functional teams, making architectural decisions that align with project and organizational goals.
- Design solutions that span multiple infrastructure domains, including Cloud (IaaS/PaaS), Data Center Modernization, Network & Connectivity, Application Hosting, and IT Operations & Service Management.
- Create detailed architectural documentation, including solution designs, roadmaps, implementation plans, and cost models.
- Develop and refine solution planning, costing, and pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and deliverability.
- Mentor junior architects and technical leads, promoting architectural best practices and continuous learning.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure and solution architecture roles, delivering large-scale, complex infrastructure solutions.
- Proven experience as a lead or senior solution architect in client-facing roles, ideally in consulting or enterprise IT.
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure Services, Solution Architecture & Design, Requirements Analysis, and Costing & Pricing Models.
- Experience with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with smart city infrastructure or large-scale government digital projects is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master proficiency in Solution Architecture, Solution Planning, Costing & Pricing, and Requirements Analysis.
- Professional certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to C-level executives.
- Experience working in or with teams in the Middle East / GCC region is a plus.
