As a delivery partner, the company seeks high-caliber and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project. The Senior Manager will lead the systems engineering approach to interface, integration, and configuration management across the portfolio. This role works with multidisciplinary teams and the supply chain to ensure critical interfaces and configurations are identified, controlled, traceable, and validated throughout the project lifecycle, supporting safe, integrated, and high-performing transport systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement interface and configuration management strategies, processes, and tools to support timely technical approvals and delivery.
- Support project processes, milestones, and analysis in line with schedules and industry standards, including ISO 15288, EN 50126/29, and EN 50716.
- Provide timely progress reports to the director of systems engineering.
- Coordinate with the director of safety, certification, and regulation for relevant approvals.
- Advise leadership and project teams on interface management and ensure fully traceable configuration control.
- Define systems architecture requirements across the supply chain.
- Plan and coordinate integration activities across projects and the wider portfolio.
- Lead interface identification and analysis, validating significant interfaces.
- Manage configuration, ensuring key configurations are recorded appropriately.
- Support the development of early-career colleagues and coach project teams to adhere to industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in an Electrical, Electronic, Computer, or Systems Engineering discipline (Master’s preferred).
- Recognised professional membership and Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in land transport-related design, construction, or operations and maintenance.
- Middle East experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Systems Architecture, Configuration Management, and Integration Management tools and software.
- Significant experience in developing and managing Interface management plans and related deliverables.
- Detailed understanding of Configuration Management in staged delivery transport projects.
- Knowledge of railway asset design, construction safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices (e.g., EN50126).
- Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant experience working on high-valued projects/programmes.
