Responsibilities:
- R&D Visibility and Tracking: Maintain an accurate view of AI R&D initiatives across various operating companies (OpCos); collect inputs from OpCo AI teams, track initiative status, dependencies, risks, and overlaps to ensure decision-ready information.
- Execution Support for Priority Alignment: Assist the AI R&D Lead in aligning research priorities to OpCos; coordinate information flow and follow up on agreed actions, surfacing issues for resolution.
- Duplication and Gap Analysis: Identify overlapping research efforts, analyze gaps in capabilities and research coverage, and prepare structured analyses to support prioritization.
- Standards Adoption Support: Track the adoption of research standards, assist teams in applying best practices, and highlight blockers during execution.
- R&D Planning and Review Operations: Prepare planning inputs and summaries for R&D cycles; organize and document AI R&D reviews and track follow-up actions.
- Research Output Readiness: Ensure research outputs are documented for reuse and track their intended application.
- Hands-on AI Research Contribution: Actively engage in AI research projects, lead research initiatives, design experiments, implement models, analyze results, and share findings.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in AI, ML, Computer Science, or a related field; PhD is a plus but not required.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in AI research or advanced applied AI environments.
- Experience supporting or coordinating multi-team AI initiatives; experience in structured, governance-driven environments is preferred.

- Strong understanding of modern AI systems and research workflows.
- Ability to summarize technical work accurately and prepare clear, structured inputs for senior technical decision-makers.
