Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 2 managers focused on strategic projects in Network Planning and Scheduling while fostering a healthy work environment and team development.
- Manage daily strategic projects to enhance revenue and cost efficiencies within the Network.
- Articulate and leverage the company’s hub structure to improve fleet utilization and connecting flows.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify strategic growth areas and improve scheduling efficiencies.
- Develop business cases and recommendations for new initiatives aimed at increasing profitability.
- Create innovative tools and processes to gain a competitive advantage.
- Drive automation in Network and Scheduling to streamline operations.
- Manage airport incentives and work with Procurement to enhance financial support packages for route profitability.
- Maintain relationships with Abu Dhabi Airports.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or Engineering (post-graduate qualifications are an advantage).
- At least 10 years of experience in commercial strategy, finance, or operations research/planning, with proven capabilities in managing cross-functional projects and motivating high-performing teams.
- Leadership, project management, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
