As a senior manager in the robotics and automation department, you will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of robotics and automation initiatives, from ideation to delivery. This includes areas such as 3D printing, factory, and field robotics. Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with executive management to define the company's robotics and automation strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and continuous innovation.
  • Project Management: Lead the lifecycle of robotics and automation projects, handling scoping, procurement, planning, resource allocation, budget management, risk management, and timely delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of robotics and automation professionals, fostering collaboration and excellence.
  • Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Identify emerging technologies, conduct feasibility studies, and make informed decisions on automation systems, robotics components, and process optimization.
  • Stakeholder Management: Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify robotics and automation needs and ensure seamless integration across operational areas.
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Implement performance metrics and evaluation frameworks to track the effectiveness of initiatives and analyze data to identify improvement areas.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of robotics and automation, 3D printing, and construction management processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of developing value propositions and translating them into operational projects.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Automation, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A project management qualification is desired.
